BetterWork Life Critical incident response
Critical Incident Management
At BetterWorkLife, we provide Critical Incident Response (CIR) services to help employees navigate the emotional and psychological impact of traumatic events. Early intervention is crucial for recovery, and our trained counsellors are here to support employees as they return to normal functioning.
Our Critical Incident Response services include:
Immediate support available during and after business hours
On-site trained mental health professionals offering immediate assistance
Individual and group psychological first aid to help employees cope with emotional distress
Information sessions for staff on managing acute stress response, to prevent PTSD and equip them with coping strategies
Debriefing to help staff process the event and share their experiences in a supportive environment.
Consultation with management to guide them through the various aspects of the incident
Follow-up support for staff at risk of developing signs of stress-related psychological injury
Tools and strategies to aid recovery and prevent PTSD
In addition, BetterWorkLife will coordinate a post-incident follow-up with a designated counsellor. The counsellor will provide a detailed report to the organisation and collect feedback on the service through a Critical Incident Evaluation.
